There were two moments of fail in my day:

1. As I am a n00b in microwaving stuff (crazy, right?), I accidentally microwaved my sandwich with the plastic wrap still around it. Needless to say, it shrunk and it was nearly impossible to wrestle the wrap away from the actual sandwich. I declared it inedible and starved all the way home from school.

2. I overslept on the bus. Surely those who have done this can sympathize with missing one's stop.

June 26, 2009 is the first day you can buy a computer and get a free upgrade to Windows 7.

I bought my laptop on June 20, 2009.

FML.

Also, I'm dying to watch HBP. Can't wait, though I'm setting myself up for disappointment. It's nothing against the franchise, it's just a defensive mechanism I use to cope with the usual fail of Harry Potter movies.

I am insanely excited for HBP despite being severely disappointed with the previous movies. Yes, I never learn.

I've been wondering lately why Final Fantasy VII is more popular than Final Fantasy VIII. I was born into a family of FFVIII fans and grew up watching my cousin play it, so I'm sort of biased. I never really played FFVII, thus I can't say anything about it. Is it because it came out earlier? The plot is nicer? The cast is more developed? Or it's just generally more awesome than FFVIII? I just started playing FFVIII again, so I was just wondering.

Gamers in my f-list (or anyone, really), I need your opinion!
